**Update - there are still a couple of these left - check the third paragraph below for current availability. E-mail or PM me with questions, or paypal to [email protected] if you want me to ship you one. I'm running to the post office on Monday, so I can ship super-fast** These were a cool, unique find, but I just bought an EG jacket and it kills me to wear anything else, so I'm selling all three. They're vintage (circa: I don't know) Danish military jackets made of heavy, stiff denim with a greenish-blue tint. They're stamped 52, 48, and 46, which is a US 42, 38, and 36. Cool details include two big chest pockets, all metal buttons (all of which are scratched and worn in), a right-side interior pocket about the size of a cell phone (but probably made for some war thing), rear metal belt hooks, epaulettes, and an inside rear drawstring. As you can see in the last couple pictures, these are pretty slim-fitting - not like other military jackets I've seen. I'm 6'2 & 175, and I'm wearing the 38 (my regular blazer size). Actual measurements are: 46/36 - 19" chest, 26" length, 22" sleeve - 1 available 44/34 - 18.75" chest, 25.5" length, 22" sleeve- 1 available I'm not trying to make a killing on these or anything, so I'm asking for $35 shipped. My paypal is [email protected] and I can ship the day after receiving payment. Here's me (6'2", 175 lbs) wearing the 48/38 jacket - Two of the jackets I found yesterday had slightly different chest pockets. They are just flap closures (no buttons), but the left pocket has some sort of a metal tag in it, about the size of a small lapel pin. It has an equilateral cross at the top, and a code of numbers and letters below that.

Heh. That pocket is indeed for some war thing. It's probably for holding a bandage or first aid pack.

What's your chest size in comparison to the 48/38?

I was enjoying the image of camo Motorola Razrs, but I suppose you're right.

My chest measures 37" at the widest point. I could get the 36 buttoned, but the sleeves were too short.

Can you put the 38 on hold for me for a few hours while I check my finances?

42 is gone too!

I'm going back to the little local place I found these to see if I can turn up any more - PM or e-mail me if you're interested in one (and what size) tonight or tomorrow morning, and I'll see what I can do for you. Thanks everybody!

could you give a measurment on the arm width? maybe around 3" up from the elbow. I want to buy that 42 we talked about......I just want to make sure the sleeves aren't too narrow.

Thanks

Laid flat, the 42 sleeve measures a hair over 8".
