Hey guys, mostly a B&S member, but I saw a coat today and really liked it, but have no idea where to find a coat like it, and am turning here for some help! it was essentially a standard design with notch lapels, single breaster, mid thigh (maybe hit just above the knee - not sure) length coat, but it wasnt a wool, or even moleskin weight material, as it was flopping around as if it were a sort of cotton based canvas material or something, definitely not as stiff a drape as u would expect a Mackintosh type trench coat, but the style/cute was similar to a Mac, but without any sort of sheen of being weather resistant. def not a corduroy, seemed like a thick maybe denim type cotton material? it was a earthy green/brown color. in either case, i want to buy one! any ideas? the general cut was similar to this jcrew Mac, but def had a different type of material http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Browse/Mens...2839/12839.jsp the material looked something like a heavier version of this: http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do...scid=684937012 but it seemed less "crinkly" like those types of blazers generally are....more of a thicker plush cotton? does that make sense?

Maybe it was some sort of polyurethane cotton mix. Kinda hard to go by your description. I bought a trench from Uniqlo in this sorta sueded cotton/poly material a year ago (the one I am selling in my sig) and then I recently bought a +J mac similiar to the one in the J.crew link. Check out Uniqlo if you live in New York.

hmmmm yeah i was just looking at the uniqlo site, and saw that Mac, but i would ahve to see it in person to see if it the material is what i want, because now that ive done more internet searching it was very close to something like this: http://www1.bloomingdales.com/catalo...*1*24*-1*-1*14 but with dual/side vents in the back, and i 'think' it was cut to have more of a british/euro shape in teh back, but not sure if it was just his build

My Banana Republic had this coat but with hidden buttons on sale for $150 the other day, I would have bought it but I just got one very similar (gap carrington coat).
