Good question. I suppose it depends where the shoe is being sold from as these are from Hong Kong, which I would venture is a UK size. My FAMs are marked a 10, which I believe is U.S. but they really fit more like a 10.5-11. What this leads me to believe is if it is a UK size, not only do you need to size up for a US conversion (so you're actually buying a 10), the size also reflects a larger size overall (so if you wear a US 11, take the UK 9). That a UK size 9 fits a 10.5-11 wouldn't be so surprising, then.

yes, these are probably a good 11 or 11.5 US D size, wow they are big.
