I don't know what tie widths are considered trad. But I know that you're Hip. Can't stop the hipness; can't stop the Trad.

More to the point: probably what's been in good Ivy League haberdashers all along -- 3" to 3.5", though I've got one just slightly less wide from Press years ago.

Oh please. J Press is such a minority of the "American" look in general. (Paul Stuart styling for instance, is another). I think we've got a lot more areas, as a nation, where we bring to bare (as it were) a bad reputation.

Ha. Funny (seriously). And there may be some element of truth to this. But you can't stop the Trad. Press's D.C. store outfits many deviant politicians. And on this first page of postings alone, we've got messages on Paul Stuart, H. Freeman (is there a more Trad legacy), Brooks, Drakes, et al. You can't stop the Trad. As for sexless and unerotic (and hold on to your Manolo's auto90403), that's right: Trad is sexless and unerotic. Why should a man's clothing be otherwise?

Did I mention that you can't stop the Trad?
