aj_del, why don't you just hire a life coach? She can be like Sandra Bullock in that movie.
You need an HDMI splitter that specifically says supports both audio and video. Not every splitter does, and not every splitter that says it supports both video and audio, will support all systems. This is the best way to do so, with fewer cables and keeping the audio digital.
