I'm going to echo the beer suggestion. Should be some good lagers at an Irish place. Guiness may be too heavy for someone who hasn't drank before, I was never real fond of the taste myself, but a Harp would be tasty.

As for the other stuff, your friends will likely buy you a few shots during the evening but beer is a good base to stick with.

FWIW, I can't stomach the taste of tequila myself - comes right back up.

First time I ever got smashed I was about 21, living with the current missus. I was doing guiness and vodka shots for as many hours as I can remember. Everything was fine and I walked to the bar's restroom. All of a sudden it felt like someone hit me over the head with a bat. I could barely stand and I start puking in the trash can. I walk out of the bathroom, puke in another trash can. My friends put me in a cab, I barely get home. I manage to stumble in, holding onto the walls, need to run to the bathroom to puke and do a number 2. I was so effed up that I could not even wipe so my wife had to do that. First and last time I was ever truly bombed. Have a good time kwilkinson.

[IMG] Not exactly the experience I plan on having...but by the end of the night, who knows. I'll be sure to keep this image in my mind when I'm deciding what exactly to drink!

Edit: P.S.--- I take it the analingus trend started well after this night, yes?

They have wild turkey in israel?

I was drinking this weird 30% israeli vodka for a few weeks... it had a strange taste.

yes, violinist, just like they have scotch in the US.....

I wouldn't touch israeli made hard liquer, or I havn't in 20 plus years. I's suprised that you pay $20 for a tube of toothpaste, and won't spent $2 on vodka.

This is a quaint euphemism for a fellow who loves to regale us with tales of all sort of anal debauchery![IMG]

I was on a kibbutz, it was all there was.

I'm just saying, back when you would have started drinking (unless you were some nerd and started late), I'd be surprised that Israel, as utilitarian as it was then, would have had wild turkey... but whatever.

Haven't had it yet. It's goin down Friday night, and then Saturday early morning driving up to Chicago. I'm sure it will be a lovely drive [IMG]

Every time I get on these threads, I feel like I'm the only person who waited until 21 to start drinking. What a LOSER! [IMG]

There's nothing wrong with not drinking before the age of 21. Sounds like you are both responsible and wanted to make sure you will fully savor the moment. Given all the teenage drunk driving shit that goes on, I'd rather have a world full of people like you.

Now, if you tell me that you willingly waited until 21 to penetrate a girl, well................

BTW, with analingus, you just have to enjoy it while you are there, you can't start thinking about it's function. Wait till a girl gives you the finger or tongue there, you'll start singing the Star Spangled Banner.
