    Wondering if you reversed the type 2 diabetes or is it still a problem?

    ...You're very fortunate the diabetes is gone. Its a horrid disease, to be avoided at all costs.

    Anyway....Q: as you were losing the weight, did you have those stages where it just stops? No matter what you do, you just don't lose any more. Extra work outs, less food not making a difference.

    I'm at that point now, and at a loss as to what I can try to and break through!! Perhaps you have some advice you can share on that.

    Congratulations man!! Losing weight is AN AWESOME ACCOMPLISHMENT. I'm so happy I lost weight too that I actually put it on my resume as an accomplishment. haha. In one year I went from 265-270 down to 218-220. :)

    What I did was simply WALK. I moved to Hong Kong last year and walked everyday and I knew I didn't want to eat a lot because I would be walking. In addition to dating a gal who was 93lbs so we literally looked like laurel and hardy... :(

    Anyway, gf is now exgf and I'm still shooting for 200lbs by the end of 2012. :) Weight loss is a difficult road though. I would say to anyone who needs to lose weight - buy a pedometer and start counting your steps. Shoot for 10,000 steps per day. You'll be surprised how fast steps get counted up.

    For faster weight loss, do some cardio and mix in some hiking or jogging. Something that can be considered a compound movement.

    For still faster weight loss, just eat more fibrous stuff and stay away from carbs. My body type is an endomorph... I can get fatter just SMELLING CARBS... With that in mind, I have to be careful. :(

    There were plateaus. I tried a few different variations, but typically what worked best were taking a week off from the gym (but still eating moderately well). Also refeeds (a one day shot where you eat 1.5x-2x your daily caloric target, but of clean and healthy foods and then going for a big lifting day) also help.

    SF members: I'm trying to get the word out on my story, solely to help people out and not for financial motives. I've had friends tell me I should go on the Today Show or Dr. Oz but haven't been successful in getting through. Any advice would be much appreciated! Feel free to reply in the thread or PM me :)

    Truly a great job! You are to be sincerely commended. I've made no secret of the fact I've dropped 50 pounds a few years ago and I know something of what you went through. Keep it up!

    Hmmm good,
    There are may ways to loss weight and make body smart and slim. My friend jack is also very fat and would like to reduce his fat from the body. I will tell him about you story i hope he would do as you done.
