    While we’re at it, why did the Dodgers even acquire Granderson? It’s not like the Dodgers are short on mediocre outfielders.

    Dodgers actually have one of the best outfield prospects in the minor leagues... blocked by these guys.

    Yep. And with Ethier, Hernandez and Pederson all healthy and eligible, Granderson seems like a waste of a roster spot. And come Spring Tolles (who’s kind of shitty anyway) will presumably be healthy as well.
    The lameness of the Dodger outfield highlights how strong they are everywhere else. Puig is a talented but unreliable 3rd/4th outfielder. Taylor is a utility infielder playing center field. Hernandez, Pederson, Granderson are all replacement level scrubs.
    And Jesus. Fucking Utley. Does Roberts not realize it’s not 2005?

    Dodgers have Alex Verdugo who is ranked #12 overall minor league prospect, batted .314 as the youngest regular in AAA....But yah.
