While we’re at it, why did the Dodgers even acquire Granderson? It’s not like the Dodgers are short on mediocre outfielders.

Dodgers actually have one of the best outfield prospects in the minor leagues... blocked by these guys.

Yep. And with Ethier, Hernandez and Pederson all healthy and eligible, Granderson seems like a waste of a roster spot. And come Spring Tolles (who’s kind of ****** anyway) will presumably be healthy as well.
The lameness of the Dodger outfield highlights how strong they are everywhere else. Puig is a talented but unreliable 3rd/4th outfielder. Taylor is a utility infielder playing center field. Hernandez, Pederson, Granderson are all replacement level scrubs.
And Jesus. ******* Utley. Does Roberts not realize it’s not 2005?

Dodgers have Alex Verdugo who is ranked #12 overall minor league prospect, batted .314 as the youngest regular in AAA....But yah.

Wow. I think Dusty Baker's kind of a doofus, but it's still crazy that both of the LCS-losing managers -- each of whom got their teams to within a game of the World Series, and in Girardi's case with a team that many doubted would even make the playoffs this year -- got fired.

Girardi didn't get fired. His contract was up this year.

If you're not first, you're last.

I was bummed when Roberts sent Utley to the plate in the 6th, but I’m man enough to admit when I’m wrong. He had the veteran savvy to wave the runner home from third on the passed ball before popping out.

I can’t be the only one who every time Gattis comes to the plate is thinking:

Crazy game tonight. Dodgers bullpen looks shot right now.
