Bautista got beaned in the head today... I'm kind of surprised the ball didn't drop for a double.

What's the consensus on Colby Rasmus? Is he going to make the Jays better?

    Beltran to the Bay!!!

    Sabean Magic...

Now if he had just kept Jason Schmidt and left Barry Zero alone,

An uneducated question- Wouldn't it GREATLY benefit the Giants to dump him and his 18.5 mil a yr salary?

Yeah, I heard there was an altercation of some sort--yet to check it out. Verlander took another potential no-hitter into the eighth, though. Dude's locked in.

Rasmus is having a tough time with Toronto. Hopefully things turn around.

Condolences to Oriole fans on Flanagan's death. Sad to hear he was despondent over blame he was getting for Oriole failures. The guy did so much for that orgination for 35 some years.

Thome to the Indians. Somebody explain that one to me? How does that give him any more chance to compete for a championship than staying in Minnesota does?

Don't do it. Verlander can't start ALL the games you know.

It's not Verlander only. Fister is proving to be the real thing. Last night, after a disastrous 40 pitch first inning, Brad Penny got his act together and did well. Scherzer is more reliable than not. Last night, after a 50 minute rain delay, most people stayed in the ball park. It was worth it. There is a swagger to this team, now.
