    Hi all,
This seemed the most appropriate place to post this(not sure if general chat would have been better)

Have any of you ever noticed your Mazda3(most recent gen) take unusually longer to start throughout the day?
50% of the time, my engine doesn't sound normal when starting up - it sounds like it's struggling moderately. It takes a couple seconds longer in comparison to how long it used to take to start up when brand new and to cars I've test driven before and after purchasing it. It has happened to me intermittently for the past 3 weeks, 1 out of every 2 times. I live in California, in temperate weather. I've had it since July and have driven 2,900 miles(350+/week); I drive about 60/40 highway to city and am easy on the engine(37.5 MPG). The car is completely stock and I have no plans on modifying it. Any help is appreciated!

Maybe check out a Mazda forum? The car forums tend to have pretty in depth information.

Shouldn't warranty be the first source of help?
