Really mixed emotions on who to root for in that game. I consider my 10 years in NorCal the highlight of my life. Big Cal fan. But my daughter goes to UT and I really like what Strong has done with the team. Plus one never sees Cal on the telly down here.

Well, GSU played really well, so maybe not too long.

GSU did play great. Wiscy also didn't have a QB settled and IIRC half their secondary was out and they were missing a few other key players. So... who the **** knows. Glad we have a bye before playing demoralized App State. If all goes well we will get the upset in Boone.

Well, I see USC managed to blow a two touchdown lead over the Utes and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory! Since becoming head coach after beating the injury-depleted Bruins last year, Clay Helton is now 1-5. This is not Trojan football as we know it. Pat "Rhodes" Haden has absolutely blighted the USC football program. I suppose I should be comforted because "Rhodes" did good things for women's sports before his exit, but somehow I'm not.

Yeah we knew that. He's just made some weird decisions ex- benching Browne after they lose to Bama and Stanford; it wasn't his fault they lost- they would have lost whichever QB they used- more of a scapegoat than anything
