Oh, and I'm loving the Mourinho meltdown.

I have nothing to say. Nothing. Nothing. I have nothing to say. Nothing. Nothing. I have nothing to say. Nothing. Nothing.

If I interpreted this scene correctly, this is a clever training ground tactic. Giroud pulled Mert's shirt basically using him as an obstacle and sling-shotting himself around the defenders into open space for the header as the corner came into middle of box where he was unmarked.

It had to have been. While Giroud is certainly a bizarre player (he can't score the easy goals but smashes in the most absurd, difficult ones...) I don't think he's looney .... ??

Anyone else see the bit about the Turks at Turkey/Greece on Monday booing the moment of silence for France, followed by chanting Allahu Akbar? (CE Crossover Post!)

Yeah, not sure WTF is up with Turkish football supporters. They seem to almost enjoy wallowing in shit at times. (Witness the whole "Welcome to Hell" shtick.)

Edit: Oh, and IB4 "CE that shit!"

    insane game

dunno why messi is allowed back in this one , it's too violent. CR elbows alves in the head and ref cards the righback ... ramos just tripped suarez in the box clear as day and nothing happens. still it's 3-0. visca barca!

of course messi is the one forcing people's hands to sub him in

how appropriate to break the record against the team with which Ruud set it (the 10th game ruud scored in was at Newcastle)
