I am pretty unfamiliar with this "foot ball" sport that you Americans seem to love so much. I'll enjoy seeing a ball fly through the air, watch people run into eachother, and the mystical and unheard-of concept called "the fourth down" that doesn't exist in my frozen socialist paradise.

Should be fun, if anything to see how people get invested into collegiate athletics... nonexistent where I am. :(

I fully expect to see Oregon make an example of Stanford. And I HATE Oregon. Oregon is as complete a team as I have seen in person.

Oregon's only played two teams with winning records. Not sure it's as foregone a conclusion as many think.

Re the Oregon-Stanford match-up, a number of members of the UCLA Bruins team, which had played these teams on successive weekends, were asked which team they thought would win. They unanimously picked Stanford. I hope the Ducks win, though, only because I'd like to see a Pac-12 team playing for the BCS Championship. Rather amazing how Stanford, good as they are, were beaten by unranked Utah.

Utah is a decent team. I love seeing a safety.

Again, another correct prediction from Edward in Atlanta.

I am very much looking forward to watching FSU play in Pasadena in January.

So... two thoughts about Baylor and Stanford (they won so they get the analysis).

    1) Baylor's cheerleaders were a little :uhoh: that black lipstick....

    2) Stanford's student body is very nerdy, Oriental, and seemingly, drunk as skunks.

They are also very self aware. I saw a bunch of signs referring to their own nerd-dom. Also, they aren't drunk, just all jacked up on skittles and gatorade.
