Did Billy Butlin design China's uniform?

    It looks Butlins Redcoats.

I note that many of the uniforms this year have a holiday camp look about them, blazers and white trousers/skirts. London Olympics is going to have a rather Hi-de-Hi! feel about it.

The Ralph Lauren stuff for the US team was really expensive and made in China from what I hear. If that's true...

    Ralph Lauren. What an asshole.

Yeh.. "Hello campers.." with a South Wales accent, and every PA announcement preceded with three chime bars. LOL.

I'm sure Ruth Madoc is still around as well.

Strange I really like Jamaica's. So much so that it actually works outside of the Olympics kind of. That skirt all I need.

I'm so sad my country won't ever recover from being sartorially ridiculous...

The Team GB outfit for the opening ceremony hasn't been released yet so the picture is fake. The rumour is that the jackets are gold - no presumptions there then. Also they're made by Next which basically means they'll be really bad fabric and poor fitting.

The athletes have to queue up at 4am outside a next store in the Trafford center to pick them up - a la Next sales.

Now is that an opening ceremony uniform or a hanging-about-waiting-for-your-event uniform? It looks like it could be a Chinese primary school uniform.

You have a great football team..

Who cares about athletics in most countries?

I like watching it and I do not find anybody at work to talk about it in normal times..

At my office, they're asking me "Are you going to London to see the Olympics, Michael?" ....NO, I can watch it just as well on China Central TV.

It will definitively be a far cheaper option.
