1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

What a joke. This is like posting a 'no jerking off' thread on an internet porn site.

I'll try to do this. I'll probably last until some non-jean pants catchy my eye.

I wanna use 2012 to save money and visit NYC or maybe a trip to europe, but not kopping for a whole year is impossible. Not kopping for a month is already difficult, imagine that times 12 [IMG]

Lol I'd better clarify. Coming up in March I've got a church wedding in Australia and the traditional banquet wedding in Singapore ... with the same girl though.

I'd like to be in.. though my money would just go somewhere else.. Then again I did just buy something yesterday. I tried something similar last year and only lasted about 5 months. Then more than made up for it in the last 7.

    This.

The best I could do is a "spend no additional $" year. I.e. sell something I own, and buy something with that money.

Not really. I feel like I spend 22 hours a day on here and browsing jawnz online, but at the end of the year, I've dropped a relatively paltry sum on clothing. I would guess I spent less than $400 on clothes last year. Then again, being broke will help the no purchase cause.

My goal is to spend more than I did last year.

jumping from those one month droughts to twelve months is an admirable, albeit huge, jump. Maybe it'd be best just to encourage resisting spending this year as long as possible? It'd be sorta similar to reduced harm vs abstinence in substance abuse programs.

I buy a lot more than I intend to, so I'm going to go on a bit of a dumbed down version of this. 100$ a month, max. I don't really spend money on much except clothes, and thats usually 2-300 a month. Which is far more than I should be spending. I'm also running out of closet, wardrobe, racks, wall, chair and floor space. I think this will be a good challenge.
Hell, I've probably got 30 shirts I've owned for over six months and never even put on let alone actually worn.

    I'm in.

+1, I could probably manage it if I was allowed to spend money earned from selling clothes I currently own (as well as not counting tailoring clothes already owned)... otherwise I know I wouldn't make it through the year... I'm good with most things but I'm really lacking when it comes to dress shirts and need to add at least a couple more.
