1. Get pysically git/gain weight/live a better lifestyle. I would like to run some marathons here in NYC as well.

2. Clear my CC dept again. SMH, I had lost some control towards the latter part of 2010.

3. By doing #2 (not going #2), I can make my 2012 resolution of becoming a better student that much easier. I'm taking 1 course this semester & probably will take the Fall completely off. This 4 year degree is looking more like 7, but it wouldn't be worth it completing with my current lowly average of 2.9.

At the tender age of 21, I'm realizing that real life is just around the corner & it is of the utmost importance that I prepare to meet that challenge with my best foot forward. I've never made resolutions before, but I don't plan on being one who fails at such seemingly simple tasks.

1. Run, climb, bike, and swim regularly. I miss being in great shape.

2. Focus more on entrepreneurial activities. I realized that I've little desire to sacrifice X number of years of my life to become a partner, even at a big name firm.

3. Do one creative thing a week, even if it is only for an hour. Paint, get back to playing the violin or the piano, write, or heck, even try theater.

4. Meditate. I've been very stressed lately, and I'm usually not the type. I'm not particularly keen on having a heart attack before I'm 30.

I like to have one abstract and one tangible resolution. Keeps it simple.

  • Be more proactive.
  • Surf the internet less at work.

The second is definitely tied into the first, but it's something specific that I can work on. Rather than put things off for later and decide to indulge myself, I'm going to try to deal with the task at hand. I'm also going to try and be constructive when I have free time. No more napping on the train, or watching TV after dinner. I'm going to try reading in spare time, making phone calls, or even doing a little writing.

I think it's also important that I stop thinking about acquiring things and be more happy with what I have and where I am.

Oh well, back to work...

2 & 3 are both a "ME TOO"

Also

-add 5-10 pounds of muscle....lose 5-10 pounds of fat.
-travel SOMEWHERE in the world..haven't been abroad since 2006
-get high more often...smoked weed for the first time since 03 last night and I must say, it was HIGHLY enjoyable.
