Best Picture: The Social Network.

Director: Christopher Nolan (Inception).

Best Actor: Colin Firth (The King's Speech).

Best Actress: Annette Bening (The Kids Are All Right).

Best Supporting Actor: Christian Bale (The Fighter).

Best Supporting Actress: Helena Bonham Carter (The King's Speech).

Bening, Nolan, and Bale will win make up/achievement Oscars this year (although I think Nolan should definitely win and Bale you can make a case for). Carter gets the "wife of a super power in the industry" win. I'm not totally sure King's Speech loses the Best Picture, either.

Am I really the only person that doesn't think Inception was that good? It was like a crappy version of The Matrix. I'd hate for fuuma to be the only one to agree with me...

I liked, not loved, it. Decent plot, the effects were awesome, solid acting.

If Inception wins best anything besides best overwhelming use of CGI effects and reliance on the stupidity of the public then it really will be time for the Academy Awards to close up shop.

Amen brother. Social Network wasn't even that good of a movie. There is no way it should be given a statue for anything other than being overbearing.

I haven't seen this yet, but the concept of a movie about facebook winning anything make me sad. What's next "GoBots: The Motion Picture"??
