In the spirit of year-end reviews, please vote on how much SF has contributed to the improvement of your sartoriale life. For longer standing members, it should reflect this year vs. years past as well as on a standalone basis.

Qualitative feedback welcome and encouraged. Here's mine:

DT, well, too DT.
MC overly populated with insipid/useless threads that could of been addresses with a simple search
General member snarkiness
B&S protocol

MC: Generally contributes well to the community, but has a tendency to distract other members of the class. Has potential, but consistently fails to realise it.

Didn't you hear? The budgeted revenues from banned members failed to materialize, so nobody will recieve salary increases nor discretionary compensation this year.

I also sorely miss aportnoy's weekly shoe damage reports.

I love how nobody gives an outstanding. The first performance reviews I wrote were chock full of them, as I thought it would be inspiring to get a great score. Until I realized that they would make no effort to improve upon that next year.

please excuse the noob but i have something to say.

i subscribe to a watch magazine and in its 200+ pages there are 10-12 pages devoted to cigars pens cars and the like, and every few issues someone complains to the editior about what a digrace it is to see such things in a watch mag. the same can be said here as noted above, but the fact is that such purist nay sayers are really in the minority. as most people with interests in watches or clothing also appreciate other conversation occasionaly, whether its eye candy, icons of certain cultures or general banter now and again. for me this is part of what i enjoy about SF, i am here for the sartorial matters but the tangentials add to the scenery.

as far as threads that could be cut down with searches, this point is made every other thread. yes it is true sometimes, but some people want more info or more specific/personal info than can be found in a search, also much of the results are years old and the info is dated. if you dont think a thread is worth your reading dont read it, there is a reason threads have subjects headings.

all in all im a happy camper here in 2010, here's to 2011 cheers!!
