What non-clothing items you're planning on purchasing in 2009?

I am building up my home theater, just bought a Sammy LCD, looking into buying an AV preamp, power amp, satelite speakers, and a Blu Ray player or recorder.

Start a Blu Ray collection, first title definitely will be Paris Opera's Jewels.

Will move the living room seatings into the home theater. I am thinking of the Krefeld sofa, love seat, and benches with or without contrasting piping for the living room replacement.

- Buy first home with the girl

- All kinds of crap that comes with buying a home and having nothing, furniture, pots, pans, lawn mower, TVs, etc

- Maybe a new car towards the end of the year

- Trip to Europe, most likely Spain, Italy, or Greece

I was going to buy a Blu Ray shortly, but what I've read has convinced me to wait. Thought about a PS3, but am pretty happy with my Wii.

Am browsing about for a new desk chair, but no firm ideas.

May visit London while the pound is weak. Some other travel in the works too.

I am really looking forward to spending a bit of money this year. It is my first year out of college and I got a pretty decent paying job. I grew up with tight-wad parents in a tight-wad environment...

Macbook (for mom)
Frog Terrarium (estimating the build to be around $400)
Desk+Chair (sister is interior designer and gets 90% off Herman Miller)
2 season tickets for Predators Hockey (usually get 1)
.
.
.
and I would like to try and knock out a large percentage of my school loans
