Hi guys, I've decided to break in my first pair of raw denim. I have read a ton of info on this site but i don't know which jeans will suit me best. I am a college student so i would like to find a pair that is under $150 that is still worth the effort.

search for the thread in this forum for jeans under $200. Lots to choose from. Depends on your build and what cut you want, but generally buying new I'd go for epaulet or 3sixteen, or get something just tried on or used preferably japanese denim from the buying and selling forum that normally retails ~$300 but can be had in your price range there.

if you're local to an affiliate, go in and try what they have to offer. get an idea of what sizes fit you in what brands. decide what cut looks best on your body. some people look good in tapered jeans, while others are too top heavy and need straight legged denim.

at the very least, go with 3sixteen. please skip nudies, apc, g-star, and all that other department store stuff. i went with KMW and am verrr glad i did so.

or u can be rly gay and just get a relaxed fit jean, take it to the tailer, and hav dem cut it to luk gud
