I have jackets and stuff but I was wondering what you all would do with a black and white striped tie. Very similar to the one pictured. (Armani, same color, I have the cufflinks and pocket square to match)

Standard white shirt / black everything or would you get creative with it>?

Obviously, it depends what kind of job you're interviewing for.

As far as that combo. I can't tell if the tie is white or a silverish color.

Others may have different opinions, but generally I stick to the rule of thumb: light tie/dark shirt or vice-versa. You want a focal point and generally that's either the suit or the tie. With that said, in my line of word (investments/finance), I hardly ever see anyone wearing a white tie. I'm not saying you can't pull it off, but you have to remember that not every interviewer is as style-savy as we all would hope.

I'd reconsider the tie for your interview, but if you're set on it, I might do a dark blue shirt and a black or mayyybe a dark gray suit. It would be a tough look to pull off, but not impossible.

For job interviews I went the way to not try to possibly offend anyone. Some people might take this tie the wrong way and even if the chance is infinitesimal it could be the kicker which doesn't get you the job. My advice for job interviews is basically to look good and to stick out because your suit is the only one of all the applicants that fits and not because it's bright orange. I recommend the following combinations:

navy suit, white shirt, red grenadine
or navy suit, light blue shirt, deep purple grenadine,
or charcoal suit, white shirt, navy grenadine

all paired with black cap toe shoes and a black belt and a nice minimalist watch. If you insist on a pocket square, opt for a plain shirt coloured TV fold.

all the advice above comes from someone who works in a more conservative work field (engineering) this advice might not apply for job interviews in more creative artistic fields like photographer or wedding planer.

Hey man, that tie is sweet, but I have some real nice tapout, monster, and aepostle ties that blow that out of the water.
