1970 Cadillac Colors . . . feast your eyes

More 'treasures' from the basement. Which color would you have chosen? Keep in mind: these automobiles were HUGE. When a Fleetwood Brougham in Chateau Mauve snaked up the drive . . . what a thrill! A white leather interior, yielded Chateau Mauve carpeting! I miss those cars. The shark fins, especially. They were gaudy and cumbersome, but so much fun.

Me too, VMan! Back then, gas was very cheap. The engines on these Cadillacs, were ridiculous. 472 cubic inches. 375 horsepower. This, to drive back and forth to the grocery store. Let me tell you, though . . . during a road trip these boats were unbeatable! We drove ours to the Grand Canyon, from Indiana. Smooooooth, as silk.

Here's our model: Corinthian Blue. Ivan's choice was Bayberry. He got overruled.

Label King, my GOD . . . that black Caddy is splendid! Those tiny windows at the rear, used to open, I believe. Hauteur, to spare.

Wow thats a beauty. I don't think I've ever seen it before. It looks like it shares a lot of its lines with the 64 Lincoln Continental. One of the best looking American cars of all time IMO.

Then there's the Continental Mark II which in 1955 cost $10,000 as a base price. The Continental Division was separate from Lincoln at that time.

BMW has a Laguna Seca Blue that I have mixed feelings about.
