1. Hi. We moved systems, and because it was impossible to achieve feature parity between the systems, we opted to archive the old B&S threads but allow users to read them so that they can put them into our new B&S system.

There is a support thread if you have any issues.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

Picked these up from a vintage store. Beautiful medium brown/slightly ruddy leather boots - very sturdy, supple leather [NOT shell cordovan, ignore the title, I can't edit it at the moment], great condition considering age. Size 12.5B. There are a few scuffs and black marks on the leather, and the soles have a moderate amount of wear, but in otherwise great condition. They each have 9 eyelets, and I think the shoelaces are original (or at least of significant age). I've added Allen Edmonds shoe trees. Each boot is stamped on the inside - the words are quite difficult to make out, but from what I can tell they say "NOV 28 [29?] 1948 / INTERNATIONAL [something] / 12 1/2 B  2099 / CONTRACT NO. [something something something] / BOSTON DEPOT."

Shipping will probably be $15-$20, as they are heavy; I will have to check with the post office to see the exact cost. If you live outside the United States and are interested in these, the shipping cost will be higher.

If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you!

Amazing with these heels with multiple holes you are talking late 30s early 40s at latest. Where did you see 1948?

The date is stamped on the inside of each of the shoes, but it is quite faded so I may have read it wrong. If you're interested, please contact me, I'll consider offers.

Nice boots, but not shell. Look at the wrinkles.

Yeah, I had no clue, it was a guess. I'm far less educated about these things than 99.9% of the people on the forum. Thanks for the correction, I'll edit the post.
