Hi

I went shopping last friday, I liked the collar of a white plane single cuff Boss black label shirt, and I was asked 190 euros for that!!!

Boss shirts are on 90-130 euros range and last year I bought a herringbone double cuff shirt double cuffed for 150 euros same black label, that was it´s price range.

190 for a white plane shirt is a robbery! I can get custom made Delsiena double cuff best fabric for 125 and Xacus top notch custom one for 180, not an already done shirt that doesn´ says anything special for that.

Are they crazy or they pump the prices on season in order to get a nice profit on sales 30-40 % after January 6th wich means they will sale at the right price (120) and will get 100% profit then ? This year all the racks are still full of wear for the crisis...

My 2 cents

^Boss isn't really all that well regarded here, so I doubt you'll find anybody in these parts who would think even 50 euros would be worth it to pay for a Boss shirt, much less 190 euros. Most of us might consider a Boss shirt only as a random "rainy day" shirt if we found one in a style we liked at about 8% of retail.

As well, sometimes their use of fabrics isn't bad. I used to have a suit... that I never wore and ended up nearly giving away to another SFer... that had Columbo cashgora fabric that was pretty good. Further, some of their other casual items aren't bad... but again, it would never be my top choice.

I totally agree on the comment of Armani and it.. Even I like Armani Collezioni shirts..

Lots of football players and low class people whi put the disguisse trying to be Upper class ones... ( Beckham and so on...) The problem is that is hard to find real good things as Canalli etc here but Cavalli,D &G and that brands...

Boss ties are overpriced and just 2 of 5 of my rating, his suits too fat,etc.. I only found they have the best cotton/silk mix fabric I have ever seen.

By the way what do you thing about SAND? they do some SLIM suits that fit´s me nice..
