Yeah the overdyed Richmonds probably need a wash first...

For anyone with the Richmond indigo overdyes, I called the store for some tips on washing.

Best bet is cold wash. (By themselves, of course.) And minimal soap. As SimModa said above, neutral or low ph detergent will help preserve the natural dye. And hang dry; these don't really shrink, in contrast to Goreckis, and tumble-drying doesn't bring out any extra character.

It was definitely @malcb33 with the detergent recommendation. But I can see how you could mix it up since I had asked about overdying and natural dyes shortly before.

Post pics of how the Richmonds come out after the wash!

That ArkAir jacket was insanely underrated.

I just picked this jacket up (thank you @CPAJay1221) to complete the ArkAir trio, and its such a great piece. I've probably worn my bucket a few hundred times already for hikes and walks. These items are up there with favorites along with the Indigo Dabu Hoodie (wearing today) and the summer fleece Appam embroidered sweatpants. And any color Hancock short too.
