Not picking up that cotton linen Nomad was such a bad decision.

If anyone has an XL or large they would be ok moving on, please let me know!

They're finished and being ticketed right now - will probably be 1st week of march

can you tell us what colors there will be this time around? Sorry if you already said this.

and any other pants dropping with them or sometime soon? I thought I saw some new model in a natural color on the IG, and also the pant to go along with the brown osman jacket.

Black, bottle (or Dickies) green, gold I thought and one more. He posted a pic of the color swatches here when he was in India a while back.

I finally wore the 1st drop wainscott aran whilst on holiday and since It wasn't too cold, i wore it without a baselayer or a tee underneath, so it was sweater on bare skin. It was really comfy BUT I was coated in the piling wool and looked like a fur monster at the end of the day. the carpet of the hotel literally was coated in my shedding. @NickPollica is this to be expected?
I love it, but mine pills like crazy, too.
I looked like a shorn sheep and the carpet of the hotel like a sheep shearing station floor as the aftermath...

@NickPollica was just wondering if you have anything to say about this? Did I buy a lemon or do I have to expect possibly 50 wears before it disintegrates on its own? I'm a little surprised by the lack of response here. Waited for you to reply to somebody else to post this. Is there a manufacturing issue here? I'm not expecting such heavy piling.

Sorry that I missed this somehow. We’ve been deep in summer/fall design and I haven’t been on SF as much as usual.

Are you saying it pills on the inside or outside? Mine pills pretty much as much as any other sweater I have that is knit with the same looser tension. I know everyone says that when a sweater pills, it means that the yarn is short and cheap, but in my experience it has more to do with the how tightly the sweater is knit. This was one of the things that I learned from Nicola, my Italian knitwear partner at Eidos, after I asked him why the insanely expensive loro piana coarsehair cashmere sweater he knit me (the softest thing I have ever touched) pilled like crazy. According to him (3rd generation knitwear designer), you can’t really have an extremely soft sweater that doesn’t pill. The reason it is soft is because you are feeling more tips of the yarn, but those tips touch and tangle when they aren’t tightly knit down, and thus pill. He used the same yarn and knit me another sample with tighter tension and it didn’t even feel like cashmere. All that is to say, the wainscott was knit with a loose tension to be soft and slouchy. Some pilling is a side effect of the vibe. That said, I personally wouldn’t wear it against bare skin, particularly because my chest looks like a southern Italian’s and the friction between my chest hair and the yarn would certainly make it more prone to pilling.
