Ok, picked up the trek pant and wader overall, along with one of the SI collab hoodies, earlier today.

i’m really drawn to the Molloy Keating shirt jacket as well, but am having a hard time justifying the price to myself. I know why a bal coat like the one from this drop is a bargain at 550, but my mental barrier for shirt jackets is well below 500.

That said, I also know it’s almost certainly worth it because I know the quality and value of the brand. What I’m wondering is if someone already in possession of the piece might be able to justify the expense to the reluctant part of my brain.

It’s a coat, with the exact same fabric quality and a similar amount of make to the bal. It’s almost as long too (it’s basically car coat length). That’s what I was trying to say about the fit before. If you are sizing down enough for it to fit like a shirt then you are missing the point. We deliberately cut it bigger and longer so that it would fit like an overcoat.

Exhibit A (and remember I’m nearly 6’4”):

This (and the fit pic) helps a bunch. I'm about 6'2-3" with a 42-3 chest, and generally take a US 42 jacket--so probably standard US large but XL in Japanese or more tailored Italian brands. Would you recommend L or XL?

And, last question: how does the bucket hat in matching fabric fit? What is the size difference between M and L?

Thanks again for your help! You guys keep outdoing yourselves with these drops!

So these days I’m about 190 lbs and am wearing between an L and an XL and this is the L. If you normally wear an American L and a Japanese XL I’d suggest the L.

As for the buckets, they’re good but I can’t speak to measurements right now. If you email our customer service someone can surely get you those but if you have a smaller head I’d go M and a larger head go L...

Just a note on the bucket hat. I measured my head circumference at 23" and the M was very snug and I had to exchange it. L fits like a charm. So if your head circumference is < 23" definitely go M. If >= 23" I'd go L.

Shame. I've an environmental hangup there.

... still I find myself strangely tempted.

Anybody have a fit pic of the eide trouser? On the website it says the model is wearing an XL, with a size 30 waist, but I didn't see a model pic.
