Yeah exactly that, bought off Mr. Porter and they messed up their sizing chart. I wanted a 9 but got sent an 8.5 and want to make sure the sizing is right to avoid returning back 2 pairs

Not sure if I should get a US 9 or a US 9.5, I know ALD says full size down but I'm seeing mixed opinions

According to ALD's website, their version is supposed to fit a full size down from TTS. But unfortunately, I'm seeing a lot of people have questions with sizing because of this statement. With a collab shoe like this it's annoying because if you buy the wrong size, it's much harder to find another pair

I was looking at buying off Mr P, you bought a UK 8 and got US 8.5 instead of US 9? That's about right for conversion charts I see. UK 8.5 would be US 9 and UK 9 is US 9.5. I don't have them but if you have wide feet I'd probably size down half.

That's where the discrepancy came in. A UK 8 in timberland is actually a US 8.5 so that's where the issue came in

The UK size - 1 isn't really accurate in my opinion. I wear a UK 10 for padmore and barnes as a US 10.5. This chart is more accurate:

I have it amd would suggest getting a half size down only. You can tighten the laces to secure your foot. Unless you have a crazy low instep.
Also I think that the sizing advice was from people that have it so the advice is going to vary.

Anyone else find the Molloy Gorecki's a little scratchy?

I just got a pair and was surprised to see they weren't cotton-lined like the Molloy SP's and Eide's. I ended up giving the Molloy Gorecki's a quick rinse and spin, and then hung them to dry and the material is much softer now!

Super underrated. Also basically live in my double knees. I might be in the minority but I like the original release more.
