Needs to get cooler so i can live in it.

I have the old one and it's really awesome. Super chunky and warm though, which sadly limits how much I wear it because I run hot. I really dig the fact it's part yak wool too.

I feel like I'd wear the new one more because it looks a fair bit lighter. And those closeup shots -- damn thats some great color going on.

I have the og nomad as well. Thick enough to wear as a coat in the winter for me because i too run hot. It’s light and heavy at the same time. The drape will have it stretch but light enough to wear when it’s warm cool.

Can I advise against the joke about happy endings in that copy? Kind of an unnecessary stereotype. [EDIT] I don't know, maybe I'm being too sensitive. It just rubbed me the wrong way (just gonna preempt this joke) when I read it, knowing that Antonio is a fairly progressive and inclusive person.

It was actually a rub and tug spot. There was language about no sexual activity in the lease.

Alright, but trafficking in the joke kinda gives off an air of "this place used to be a seedy Chinese massage place but now we've upgraded it to a hip new clothing store! (which by the way draws heavy influence from Eastern culture)." I'm sure it's not your intention but the optics are iffy. It just brings the whole thing a bit closer to the wrong side of the appreciation vs. appropriation debate that was happening before. As an Asian American, those are my two cents. I'll still support the brand regardless.

I’m with you, especially when combined with the graphic showing the earlier names crossed out. I know it’s meant as a way of having fun and paying homage to what came before but to me it reads as kinda triumphalist—they’re gone, we’re here now. I feel the same but stronger about plenty of newish places in my neighborhood that retain the branding of previous inhabitants of the space. It’s meant as a way of acknowledging gentrification and thereby forestalling criticism of one’s role in it, but comes across as weird and misguided. Like (and this is addressed to the neighborhood places, not Antonio, wouldn’t get this heated about a flyer), gentrification is inevitable and much more a structural issue than an individual one, so just accept that new things overwriting old ones is the way of the world, stop trying to guiltily acknowledge/deflect, and do your thing without dragging those driven out into something they have nothing to do with.

This is the most woke thread on styleforum

Good one. Sure, partly because the nature of the endeavor calls for attention to these kinds things in a way that British suits don’t. But, also, there’s a way of looking at the above, which I prefer and which it seems like you would too, as just plain good manners—not kicking someone when down, etc. The massage business failed. Probably they wouldn’t enjoy a bunch of strangers being reminded of that, nor their sordid history.

Ps—also, my comment was a call for people to relax about aspects of gentrification. Not sure how that reads as woke.
