Holland looks fantastic. I love the lines of the baffling. What's the fill?
Thermore Ecodown (Italian 100% recycled polyfill made from plastic bottles). Often used in arc’teryx jackets. Super warm, light and - as a major upgrade to the previous Indian fill - completely without rigidity. It wears much more like actual down and will never poke through the shell fabric.

Not sure how the hats didn’t sell out instantly, was pleasantly surprised there were some left when I woke up on the west coast this morning.
I assume there is probably some sticker shock (similar to the sweaters). The only thing I can say is that when something we make is expensive, there’s a reason for it. First cost was really high as the production process for these is entirely done by hand, with either undyed or naturally dyed yarn.

Got to test out the Rainshadow I grabbed during the warehouse sale today. Very happy with it, kept me dry and all the adjustment bungies are great to keep the hood up when it’s windy.

looks 👌

This is the same fabric quality as the ACG Misery Ridge Shell. It performs really well.

Does anyone know why the sizing on the blazers/suit jackets runs so small?
The product descriptions say TTS but if a wolf button-down shirt that you'd wear under it is 55" chest in my TTS then the corresponding Brera blazer is 47".

Does a wash and dry really soften them up? I cannot remember the last time I tried wearing raw denim. In for a trip.
I mean they’re still very much raw denim, but yeah it does noticeably soften up IME. Definitely been a while for me too, but I’ve been very happy with them so far.

Was -9F this morning. With a harris tweed blazer and big scarf, the Melton bridge coat had me toasty. 5 minute walk.

I'm going to use this as my other winter coat for the frigid blasts of winter. Bonus that it can be worn open as well for the warmer days too.

Fellas, raw denim is just unwashed (or unsanforized) denim. Once you wash it, it is no longer raw denim. I haven’t tried the 18E denim but I’m sure that it will soften with a wash as all denim does.

The Rainshadow is 👌 - you will be psyched. Ordered my own Holland this AM. Not sure if anyone actually reads the product descriptions (DMs suggest no) but insight into this one worth it. Most time consuming piece our Jaipur team has ever produced. If you like the Nanga but don’t have the scratch for it, are anti-down, or hate having our name on the outside of stuff, this is the jacket for you.
The naturally-written copy of the product descriptions was one of the main reasons I've become a loyal fan. I love learning about fabric and design inspirations and it's actually well-written. Best in the biz, in my view.

Your question presupposes that we intend you to wear the wolf under a brera. The wolf is not a TTS garment - it’s an oversized oxford that we designed to be worn as its own top layer.

Ah, interesting. I have several wolfs and just use them as work shirts. my TTS is 52-53" chest and I wear some other XXL 18 East sweaters I have over a wolf so…
TL;DR: I have no idea what I'm doing.

Dang 53". The Wolf is oversized for most which is why the corresponding Brera size has that chest measurement. But for you, it seems like the Wolf is just a normal fit

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
