Any promo shots of how the new Pilchuck flannel is supposed to fit? Is it meant to only be worn as an overshirt or can it also be worn as a regular flannel?

We didn’t get to shoot it on model really because the XL sample showed up too late but we would have absolutely styled it over a tee and not on it’s own. I just think all flannels look better that way.

Thats the earlier Pilchuk. Fits fairly close to the Sam IME.

can anyone who has the silk danilo Harrington comment on its weight/warmth? Is it really light or could it be a transitional/early fall jacket?

It's absolutely not a summer jacket. The silk fabric on its own is already pretty warm (which is the case for the silk Richmond cargos), but the Danilo also has lining on top of that which makes it even warmer. I could probably wear this jacket down to the high 50s before I'd need a topcoat

This is extremely helpful, thank you!

I’ve been wearing mine nonstop since I got it; in fact I’m wearing it right now with a western shirt and painter pants. The weather in New England permits it now and it goes with nearly everything in my wardrobe. If you want an idea of how the fabric feels, just imagine a potato rucksack with more smoothness and slubbiness and you’d be close. Seriously incredible piece, best jacket from the summer collection even if it isn’t really suitable for summer at all.

It's raw silk which feels very different from finished silk. It's somewhat common in India.
It’s sounds like the tussah silk Drakes makes ties with. Back when I wore ties I loved those. The idea of a jacket made out of that is amazing.

Thank you all for the feedback you shared. I intend to wear this in New England so this has all been super helpful!

The Drake’s one is not handloom. This fabric is very, very special and a good example of a piece that could (and probably should) retail for 3x more than we are selling it for.

Thoughts on this as a suiting fabric?

I was thinking in the same silhouette as this summer's army green linen suit with the balloon pants.
