this ripstop is heavyish and softish, not incredibly crunchy imo. Doesn’t have any stretch. I really like the pants, also like the parka but I wish I had the XXL.

It does have structure but is surprisingly soft. For comparison, the ripstop Goreckis have just a touch more structure than my sateen Richmond overdyes. You wouldn’t know it was ripstop. It helps that it’s 100% cotton, so it doesn’t have the crunch or stiffness that a synthetic or blend would have.

The parka has a bit more structure because of the mesh lining, but still drapes and folds like a cotton jacket. So, more heft with this fabric but not crisp or crunchy.

Hey Sood - can you elaborate on what didn't work out for you? I'm normally a 40/M and went with the 44, and found it good in the body but too long overall and in the arms. Was considering going with the 40 but figured it'd be too small.
