Well, I gave into the lure, and got the tweed jacket. It's an unconstructed Borrelli tweed jacket with patch pockets. It is quite awesome. High armholes and no shoulder padding at all (I guess this is the fabled giacca camicia). I run very warm generally, so I think this will be my mainstay for the fall. I also asked many questions and ordered late friday night, and it just arrived today.
