The mailman couldn't deliver yesterday as I wasn't home when he rang, so I had to collect it today instead.

Many thanks to B.P (couldn't find your StyFo alias anywhere) who bought me these fantastic gifts which include: Three paris of Incotex trousers, VK Nagrani shirt (unknown brand to be before this), two silk ties from Brioni and one made from 50/50 silk and wool from the same maker. The one with tennis players on is a NWT Polo RL. Also some delicious nutty candies nom nom

If you read this B.P. please make yourself known so I know who to thank.
Also, absolutely insane calligraphy comparing to pretty much all hand written things I've ever read.

Glad it made it! This was my first international shipment in over a decade. Haha. I happened to drive by the Pearson's candy factory the other day; those two are some of my favorites! Enjoy :)

Also, it appears I forgot to cross a T. Whoops. Haha

@GM-H came through with some awesome stuff for thriftmas!

i mentioned that WFH as an IT worker means I’ve succumbed to the athleisure trend so he sent me a stack of lulu, fan freaking tastic coffee, coasters from Pendleton so I don’t stain more of my house, a really nice handmade card, conservative business dress chocolate to calm my nerves, maple sugar which I didn’t even know existed, some soap for my filthy existence, an unknown sticker, Saab hat, and a #menswear appropriate ornament.
Thanks man!

I am just overwhelmed reading this thread (and the previous ninth anniversary one). If anything justifies the creation of the internet, it's the StyleForum community! What an escape from the cesspit of insults and shaming that rest of internet forums are, and what a good thing here is and how nice everyone is to one another. It's a lovely idea to have set this up and maintained it for so long. A lovely bunch of chaps indeed!

^^^^What he said! Shout out to @Fueco for the thoughtful gifts! The beer of course got drankin right away. The fudge is fantastic (wasn’t sure if it was going to be “special” fudge, this being Colorado and all:)) and a tin glass from a local brewery. I also mentioned I’ve been into outdoor stuff lately and he sent over a great Vtg backpack, some nf and Patagonia. Also the Jesus sweater will be a hit next year if we ever get to have parties again. Cheers thrift bros!

The fudge would’ve been better fresh (I made it the day before I shipped the package, not knowing you were heading out of town). The steel pint glass was the impetus for picking up the beer.:)

You’re the only person here here who I could envision wearing that life of the party sweater, so hopefully you do get to rock it, and post a pic here.

Huge thanks to @silverwarebandit

He knocked it out of the park with this box. Klaxon Howl waxed cotton shawl collar coat, some killer vintage shirts (going to wear the Big Mac tomorrow), 45 rpm canvas bag, some RRL military inspired utility pants, Kitsune tee, really cool Journal Standard Homestead shirt and what I think is a really beefy Klaxon Howl hoodie. Awesome hand-made Christmas card as well. Love it! :slayer:

I've been told something has arrived at the address I gave (it must be one of the two SF gift exchanges...), but that was a family address I was at during December, so I don't have it in hand quite yet. The same family is coming to visit next week though, so I should have it Monday/Tuesday!

If someone is tracking it and it says it's arrived, that's why I haven't said anything yet. If someone is tracking and it's still on the way, then it's from the other exchange ?

closer... only 5 weeks and counting....

My package out of Australia, to the States, also only recently arrived there. When I posted it I was quoted the standard 9-12 days for that shipping option, but phrased as "They should get it in 9-12 days... after it gets on a flight." When I asked when it might get on a flight, I pretty much got an apologetic shrug.

Being an island country that isn't really accepting inbound passenger flights has a pretty big impact on shipping, it turns out.
