1 Year Anniversary Gift Idea

My 1 year dating anniversary is coming up and taking the gal out to nice dinner and drinks in NYC. I'm also trying to find a gift around $350-450 range. I've bought a white gold necklace with a small diamond for her 30th and she doesn't really wear any other jewelry. Occasionally she wears earrings when going out.

I was thinking of getting her a new hand bag (mid-size with handle/shoulder) in a brown shade. She's not a huge brand name person and most of what she buys is pretty cheap but she likes to be fashionable. More of her personality but I'd like to get her something nicer. So far, I've found this Tory Burch bag

I'm 30 myself and this is the first time I've ever shopped for something like. I was also thinking of getting her a new pair of flats but seems kind of boring. Also with the fall/winter season, I didn't think they'd get much use.

I'm opt for any suggestions!

Don't buy her clothes or purses. Bhowie's suggestion is a bit brash, but something along those lines seems more appropriate.

isn't the traditional gift for 1 year dating anniversaries a pearl necklace?

seriously, bring her out on a nice date, maybe a weekend trip together.. don't have ti give a gift or make a big production out of it

Seems aggressive for a dating anniversary, we used to just do dinner for that anniversary.

I was gonna take her to a restaurant near Central Park and maybe stroll through the park earlier in the day, but perhaps I'll opt for finding a nicer place for dinner than a gift.
