This is a suit that I realize StyleForum as an entity will not enjoy for a few reasons. However, I am in love with the color and I wish I had a suit in a similar hue. This suit is 100% satin cotton, light blue with navy blue edging.

Question: What changes would have to be made for you like this suit given you could change anything other than the color?

Earnestly, that is godawful. But if you like that color, you can find it commonly on summer suits. I know Haspel makes them that color, and I pretty sure Brooks has as well. Keep it cotton/linen and wear it in warm weather only. A sack cut would be nice, but nothing extreme like that pictured. Because the color's so out there, I think you'd be better served by a more anonymous cut. Too many extremes and one begins to look a clown.

As:
odd trousers - no piping and they can work as casual s/s trousers
sports jacket - two buttons, two straight pockets, no edge stitching, notch lapels, no piping on pockets
suit - £1m million cheque in one of the inside pockets

Everything but the colour. In-fact I'd change the colour too if that was an option; I don't mind a light blue suit but there's something odd about that particular shade.

Change the colour and cloth to something with a bit more surface interest. That cloth looks cheap. The 'pick' stitching on the lapels, collar and breast pocket would have to go, as would the piping which is naff. The trousers are cut too skinny for me, they are also too long. I would lengthen the coat a smidgeon, however, I can't really judge it from the angle of the photo. I have no problems with the pockets even though [I suspect] most on here will have.
