Where are you getting these measurements from though?

If you are taking it from here: "Our fit model is wearing a size 48. His measurements: height, 6'2"; waist, 31", that's his waist measurement, not the pants'.

Did you pick these up? Let me know the waist measurement when you get them if you don't mind.

Nevermind. I ordered the 50s in grey. I put them in my cart, then they disappeared and showed as sold out. Then they were available again. Then sold out. Then available. Managed to check out with them, so we'll see what happens.

How did these fit? Is the consensus on Jil footwear to size down 1?

I've owned two pairs of jil shoes (recent seasons). I normally wear a US8 and the plane derbies in UK6 fit perfectly. I also have these beater winter boots (most likely same season as the jagged-soled derbies) in UK6.5 and they fit comfortably with thick socks.

Received the Raf trousers from P&B today.. no dice. Not sure how their model with a 31" waist was able to wear a 48. Even with the elastic waistband tightened these are too big.
