Turn out my bank thought it was a fraudulent transaction and blocked my card.

Since Raf is now at Dior shouldn't the thread title change?

I wouldn't say so. Raf's aesthetic was apparent in his collections for Jil and his own line (forgoing the whole "fall from grace" debate), hence their combination in this thread. The man himself says that his Dior femme collections won't be a continuation of his minimalism, since he's "also a romantic." And Dior Homme is still headed by Kris Van Assche, so that wouldn't really fall under the Raf shopper umbrella either.

Were the metallic (green/purple/red) chain fw12 shoes ever for sale anywhere in the end?

If not, is it reasonable to infer that they were intended/desired for production but no buyers wanted them?

Oh wow you're right I was completely mixed up.

I'm excited to see whether they are for sale anywhere -- and for how much -- and who buys them.

Aloha Rag shows them in their buyers section. Apparently they will have them.

Thanks for posting this, I didn't know that section was up.

$1164... ouch

Especially if you get this pair: :uhoh:

Hello gents, would you be so kind to inform me what's the difference between Jil Sander white label vs. black label? Is one higher quality than the other? Thanks!

I don't think there's a difference between label color (though of the pieces I own, my favourites are all black labels). The only distinction I'm aware of that signifies higher quality is the tailor made suits are supposedly all fully canvased, which I guess implies those without the label potentially aren't.
