So, at the office, but I just got the Formosa in and figured I had to snap a few pics, to see how it looked. Excuse my terrible, non-SF appropriate attire, had to wear work polos into the office today... Plus, it is Monday, and it is nice to be comfortable!

Pics are fairly terrible, so I will keep them spoilered. However, just for you Murl, I took a back shot. I feel I got off lucky picking this hopsack up.

And also, a picture from brunch this weekend, wearing Mazzy shirt, and Eidos SC, drinking a Mimosa. Girlfriend's birthday, so I obliged her, and decided not to wear a PS.

That is clean. I'm still pissed my cell network was acting up and I missed out on that jacket by a few seconds. You will get a ton of use out of that jacket.

Yeah, I was really lucky to have snagged it. Sorrz bro.

I definitely think it is my favorite so far. It is much more subdued in person than in pics.

It says a lot for Formosa that it can even work magic over a work polo. :nodding:

    Formosa giacca here too:

    Very nice Frank!

You know, it is kind of funny. Each of my Formosa jackets roll at a different location.

The higher roll seems particularly appropriate in that beastly flannel :).

Looking to pick up the Monitaly Raglan zipper jacket: http://www.nomanwalksalone.com/inde...l-melton-wool-with-black-leather-sleeves.html

Can't decide whether to get the 40 or 42. I would order both but living in Canada prevents me from doing that (I would be paying double the customs fee). I have a 21" chest and 17.5" shoulders.

I would normally e-mail NMWA asking this but I don't want to keep clogging up their e-mail queue with sizing questions. Heh.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would guess 40...I have a a slightly larger chest and 19" shoulders (in most shirting) and the 42 Monitaly parka fit me quite well. I am sure the two jackets are cut differently but I would still guess the 40

    Neapolitan wabi-sabi?

Fox flannel is really everything I could have hoped for. And I'm enjoying the Formosa style (in addition to the new-found opportunity to roll with the heavy Formosa crew here... :)) I still feel as if the photos make the jacket look bigger than it feels, if that makes any sense. And maybe the cuffs could be a shade shorter... and then I think figure I'm just going to own it like this:

    Wait, you smell that?
Missed out on the Valstar Field Coat - the Notify Me function doesn't seem to be working after I put in my e-mail address (tells me to select a product without doing anything further). Anyone else having an issue with it?

Ha, I guess so. I have three jackets, and all three look a little bit different. Being a fairly laid back person, it does not bother me at all, but it definitely is curious. Who knows, they may all settle in the same.

And I completely understand vis-a-vis it looking larger than it feels. Even in the shots where mine looks bigger, it feels just right. For me, I have just enough room to move comfortably without excessive pulling.

    Hello

I clicked on your banner advert regarding Eidos MTM trunk show and special opportunities for people who can't make it.
I'm based in England... I love what I have seen of eidos.

Sorry about my ignorance but what does MTM mean in this instance?
Is it selecting fabrics you like, or actually providing your body measurements for a garment to be made to your spec?

I suggest size 40. We are similar size and 40 should work for you.

Talk to Greg and Kyle to be sure.
