Glad we didn't miss "the peak". Always a shame. :D
I'm half way between barber visits but not much peak to show for either way.

HUGE thank you to Greg and Kyle for letting me invade the NMWA headquarters yesterday. Lots of their product I've never seen in person before so it was very helpful to figure out my size in Formosa, GRP, Inis, LBM 1911, Stephan Schneider, and Mackintosh.

Came away with a Mackintosh Waverly though I was going back and forth between that and a GRP A-1.

Smelled the bull wool. Don't listen to Murl, it absolutely has an odor.

Maybe the NoMan drawstring pouches we use for shipping are odor-neutralizing?

That's terrible advice....always listen to me. So I didn't bury my nose in the damn thing, but it didn't noticeably stink to me. The tags are cut and there is no way it's going back.

I need another tie like I need a hole in the head, but I couldn't resist this one from the latest Drakes delivery:

That was peak Jewfro. Got a haircut on Monday :)

:(

Superb tie, I was eyeing that yesterday.

Quite the feeling cutting an NMWA tag, amirite?

That looks hot.
(currently in the 90ies here)

Well, it wasn't COLD yesterday, but that combo actually didn't create any overheating. I even added a light jacket to it outside.

Lovely combination of texture and color.

Is that the Weiss field watch? Been looking at one myself and curious.

It is an Archimede.

Those Weiss watches look awful. Which means I like them very much and now want one. :D Was not aware of them.

Sorry it's hard to pick out the color of the pants, it's a pretty cloudy day today (I think I'm actually moving to grab my phone so I can catch the T). I feel like I am going to be living in my Sage de Cret trousers a lot this winter. Owning the trousers really makes me want to own the matching jacket...

Maiden voyage of some suede Butteros I just picked up this week...these things are the ****. The suede is very nappy, completely different from most other smooth suede shoes in my wardrobe, but it works really well for casual sneakers:
