    agreed.
The strange thing though is that he is definitely a slimmer profile and I have the 42 and 44 here. Initial fit I like the 42 better but based off his pics earlier I thought the 42 would be too slim for me. The fit is trim without being too tight with a heavy-weight hoodie on. 44 is more relaxed but sleeves are too long. Need to longer trial after work hours to be sure. Without a doubt SUPER high quality piece.

Only nitpick is that the zipper is near impossible. I fashion myself knowledgable with how to work a zipper but this thing needs incredible care to accomplish.

Medium for sure. I think it fits you in a more pleasing way on the shoulders (cf. when you raise your arms). It also has a more fitted look in the body. Some of course, might like a more baggy look, but...

Or just whatever you're wearing in the last pic, because after a few swigs, you won't care.

With a Gansey, I completely agree with your assessment. I don't see myself wearing anything other than a t-shirt / long sleeved t-shirt under this.

I like honest opinions about size without any of my preferences getting in the way :).

I agree with Tweedy. I can't wait to get mine tomorrow. Looks like a L should work for me...pretty sure my shoulders are a bit wider than yours and I'm taller.

I like the L. It's a heavy weight sweater and I think a bit more relaxed. The body looks too tapered in the M for my taste

I like the large on your more too in that sweater. The trim body looks off to me.

Nope. The navy was the slowest seller and sat in the sale section for ages. We went with different colors this season.

This. Rugged, manly sweater. Don't want to look like a girly man in it. Don't want to get thrown out a fucking window.

Newc How's the body length in the L vs the M? I think I prefer the M on you, but it looks as if maybe it comes up a little short.

    Newcomer,
I purchased the same sweater. Does the puffed shoulder bother you at all? I guess that's the way it's knitted. My wife found that sort of feminine. Mulling ...
