I ordered my field coat using the measurements of an Eidos sport coat as reference. I figured the field coat would be sized to cover a SC.

Click on the order link/s, pull down item number, choose max visible number and click 'add to cart'. If it says "number not available", reduce by one and try again, and so forth. Et voilà.
(are you a beginner at this "game"?)

    @Asian Afro
For the main size choice that should probably work. Q-mark is mainly with the length. Is an R long enough to cover a 52L Eidos SC or 50L Formosa. Not that that's going to be its main purpose, but if having the choice, I'd rather be able to make an educated one. ;)

^ if you look back at the post where I posted fit pics, I believe I mentioned something about length. The 54 coat is pretty much the same length on me as my 54L sport coat. If you want to make absolutely sure it is longer and the jacket never peeks out, then L is a better choice.

One of the two 40s is already gone.

I can try to get one a bit later, but in the meantime, a quick google search turns up a lot. It's a jacket he does season after season, so only the material is changed on this one compared to what you might find online.

It also turned up this site, which is pretty novel if I'm intepreting it right:

Well aware of that post chain. ;)
Could you possibly do me one big favour and measure the BOC length of the 54(R) Oatmeal you still show as in store?
From there I can extrapolate the 52R (and L) length, via the measurements of the other Eidos coats.

No problem, the 54 that we have left measures 31" down the back

    Cool! Thanks, Kyle. :)
And many thanks for the shipping "flood", too!

That makes the FJ just 3/4cm longer than the corresponding SC. Think I'll go for an L then there, too. (Will send email reply to order confirmation.)

Then please give my best to Greg as well. :D

No wonder he seems a bit grumpy. All that packing up taking its toll, on the manicure for one. ;)

So...the Ecru Bull's Wool.... do you guys baby this thing or do you beat the daylights out of it... work on the car, rake the leaves, shear the sheep, dig a ditch, etc.?

I feel like there is no in between with a white sweater. I'll have veggie chili split down the front within a week.

if you intend to baby it then you should keep that to yourself or expect much public ridicule
