If we have to start justifying our purchases, Greg is screwed. You can't rationally justify any purchases from NMWA...we want it, we can afford it (sometimes later), we get it.

I think I'd have zero orders from NMWA if I had to justify my purchases, LOL! (I'm a small timer in these parts, with only about a dozen orders. But my order list does include that field jacket in oatmeal/brown placed today...:slayer:)

Thought I'd share the ts(s) pants that are for some reason still available in 4 and 5:

You can tell how wrong the colors are (that little panel's supposed to be about as gray as the rest of the pants) but the cut is really comfy and easy to move in with a strong taper that doesn't make you feel like you're walking on carrots, the main dobby fabric is subtle but interesting enough to lend some visual weight to the whole thing and the knit parts are both super comfortable and let you do things like climb over fences when you've made bad decisions and need quick egress. I find it hard to recommend them to friends since the smaller sizes are sold out but if they fit you, you're doing yourself a disservice if you have space for some casual pants and haven't checked 'em out. My one fear is that it'll turn more people onto ts(s) and I'll have to be quicker on the trigger.

I know exactly what you mean.

Greg did and thats why I want it even more

I hate to sound cheap but I usually wait for sale stuff. I have too many incoming purchases and outgoing cash which is making me wish I had held off on other things to buy this. Lets see if I break down before its all over.

On another note I got my Mazza from Greg today. Love these shirts

You know, that was a viable "strategy," I guess, during NMWA's first year... but if you sleep on these items, you are going to be SOL.

And by sleep on them, I mean do not purchase them within 48 hours of dropping. There is a lot of variety, but there is not too much stock.

Frankly, I have two beliefs: (i) I like to purchase things I love enough to buy at full price, and (ii) the NMWA price / quality ratio, even at full price + discount, is crazy enough as-is. As evidenced by the fact that the sales are not TOO deep.

Just this past sale season I was deciding on 3 shirts. I waited like 20 minutes and then 2 out of the 3 were gone. I totally agree with you on all points here. I just want to make sure its a piece I will wear and not look pretty in my closet.

Oh, I know, and I completely understand. It looks like a great piece to me, but I am kind of on the fence with regards to wearability.

In general though, this F/W season has been particularly "competitive," which is actually kind of fun (read: lawyer). Some sizes are particularly ravenous. All I am saying, from personal experience, is kop now, or maybe never kop again :).
