Archi - Kudos, man. I really launch a new pair of these Rota pants. So nice.

PCK - Size up and have them taken in, no question.

    Newc - Great looking ties.

PCK, I concur with all of the foregoing opinions. Size up, take 'em in. I find the waist on the Rotas to be roomier, proportionately speaking, than the rest of the pants.

Speaking of Rotas, I want all of the new ones :(.

Thanks stitchy, I <3 them so far.

little late to the party but i found the cotton rotas to be cut much slimmer than the wool. i'm good w/ a 48 in the wool but needed a 50 in cotton (and they are still slimmer than the 48s)

I too, want all of the pants.

My only fit difficulty area with Rotas is in the hips, due to my birthing hips. : (

That's my experience as well - for linen and cotton, I go 52 and take in the waist and for wools, 50 is perfect right away - just throw a 2 inch cuff on there and roll.

Yup - they're actually on their way to us right now
If you're [IMG] now, think about how [IMG] you'll be if you wait too long to get yours! Strong start of the Rota season already...
Good data point, thank you. Of course, everyone has a different body and things fit differently. I'd be curious to hear if others feel like there's a full size difference in fit - I'd say a half size personally.

The cotton Rota's I definitely need a 50, I haven't had the wools on, but the measurements look like a 48 would be perfect off the rack.

I may not be able to hold out long. I am looking at the stock remaining. Fortunately, there are a whole bunch of Rotas.

On the plus side, breaking out the Valve for the first time in a while, and it may be the perfect fall jacket for me. Oh yeah, and I just picked up my Eidos SC from the tailor, and it fits / feels great.

    This is very interesting.

I found the F/W Rotas of 2013 to be a lot more forgiving than the linen Rotas this S/S 2014. That is likely due to fabric, but just a note.

My already tenuous association with the NPC club is about to be over.
