That sounds perfect. I definitely don't need a full size bigger. I ordered the 48 and think they will work out great.

The wool Rotas are pretty similar to Formosa in fit. Plus, sizing info is accurate (as always).

Done for grey donegal, mid brown twill, dark brown HB flannel. Should cover my a$$ well (literally) for a while.

Fawn flannel Rotas purchased. Reward of sorts for dropping 1.5 trouser sizes over the summer due to a heavy exercise regimen.

New Formosas look great. Greg or Kyle, can you confirm that these were done with a slightly higher rise in the trousers than last year's? I think I recall you saying that, but the measurements on the site are the same for the new suits and for last year's.

the waist measurement on my trousers is 98 cm which sits right in between the waist of the Rotas in sizes 52 (96cm) and 54 (100cm).

Should I go with the 52 and have them let out a touch or the 54 and have them brought in?

Rise on both sizes will work for me...its only 0.5cm difference between the two sizes anyhow...

i want the mid-brown twill and grey donegals...but i think all of the new rotas look really nice...which is very tempting...

Rota are slim fitting so I order a size larger and have the waist taken in a bit. Ends up being perfect for me.

So, don't get me wrong, both the TYT and Calabrese ties are GREAT. But damn, for $99, the Calabrese ties are just a STEAL.*

Both ties are beautiful. I am replacing my tie wardrobe with Calabrese.

    Yessir. Me gusta.

The color is a bit sepia toned in my picture... but it is pretty accurate.
