1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Getting closer. I have the Malkos as well, actually in UK8.5 and UK9, former fits snug and well throughout and is fine in length, latter just a bit roomier and only a tat longer, will be good with thicker socks in colder weather.
Which size Malko do you have and what's your fit experience?

I have the 9.5UK. They are snug through the midfoot, but a little long. I probably would not have been able to wear a half size down comfortably. I like my shoes to fit with some room.

Thanks for this. Seems my feet might be a tat narrower and given your Malkos' sizing compared to mine I'm consequently somewhere between a UK8 and 8.5.

Minnis Fresco and Caccioppoli cotton solaro (I much prefer cotton solaro to Smiths).

Isn't Smiths a wool solaro? Quite a big difference innit?

Nice to see that ordering from Canada is just as easy as ordering from the states now. After exchanging e-mails with Kyle, I realized that I'm an L in the niche blue loose-knit, so now I have a go-to piece for this spring and summer, and probably into October if it's warm enough.

Really crappy iPhone pics will be coming soon!

Just to follow up, Part two of the Stephan Schneider interview can be found here

Great timing with the coat re-release, I think, especially considering Stephan's talk of continuity in design.

Thanks J - really nice job with the interview, I quite enjoyed it. He is a very interesting, funny and quite surprising character, isn't he?

Yes, there is a difference between wool and cotton. I noted my preference for the cotton derivations of the solaro concept. I personally find them to be a better fit for the season and the overall look.

Thanks! Yes, not what I was expecting - although I wasn't all that sure what to expect. I lost it when he started talking about Damir Doma. My recording is punctuated by muffled laughter.

What are the shoulder measurements for the Gemini Cardigan? Wondering if I could fit into a 3, probably too small, shame I missed the grey one.

The Gemini has raglan sleeves so there are no shoulders to measure on it really. I would say if you normally wear a Small / 36 then the 3 would be good for a more regular fit, and a 4 if you want the super slouchy fit like in the lookbook.
