I don't see either as being more appropriate for the intended use, but I think the austerity brogue is a contemporary classic - just wonderful understated elegance. And I think the price difference e is more than worth it for the hand welted construction and lasted shoe trees that Vass brings to the party.

Any sizing info on the Ramsey double monk?

Is it a very narrow fitting last?

    UK9E in EG 888 and 82
UK 9 in Carmina Robert and Forest
    43 in Vass U and F

That Heschung Taupe suede Malko brogue boot looks amazing. Do you recommend sizing down?

Will SS have more grenadine ties? Something similar to the FW13 offering would be awesome, but not sure how seasonal are ties and respective fabric choice... grenadine can be worn throughout the year, yeah?

Just ordered my first pair of Rotas in dark brown cotton twills. :) Would have grabbed a navy blue pair too, but...

Here's a question to those who live in cold climes: do you find cotton trousers to be of limited use in winter?

I tend to wear wool trousers in winter for fear of salt stains. With wool, a quick brushing's all that's needed to make trouser legs clean. Not so with cotton. I therefore wear cotton only when it's cold and dry, which often means when it's cold enough that road salt stops working. At 500g, the Rotas are certainly hefty enough for temperatures -18 C or below (YMMV). I plan on making them my dry winter pants.

Greg, Edouard or Kyle: Any estimate on when we can expect the Vass Mtos made during the trunk show to start coming in?

As the site has no measurements up yet, what would be my best choice for the Esemplare vest with a 40.5" chest, M or L?

Stock is now up online - a few more of each size so grab them while they're hot!

I would go with the L for sure

Edit: I feel like I should elaborate on this since other people might have similar questions. I would universally go one size up from your "normal" lettered size. I opted not to give measurements on these because I find they can be very misleading on down garments and just lead to more confusion, and the sizing of this one is easy enough if you just go up a size.
