Regarding the Inis Meain toggle shawl, I'm a 36 and the small fits me well, but it is on the trimmer side in the midsection compared to the other styles. The sleeves are also just long enough on me, so if you have long arms it might not work.

For reference I'm 5'9" 135lb and average build / proportions.

Sorry, was hoping for the dark brown or navy blue twills. I have a slim build, but all the Rotas are out in size 46. I guess I'll wait for the spring collection.

No worries. The fabric is great if you stumble on a pair. Really sad they don't fit.

Indeed! Kopped an Arholma direct from Stutterheim and been rocking it with my Inis roll neck from nmwa for full Atlantic trawlerman effect. Snug and dry (well from the mid thigh up anyway!)

The navy blue and dark brown twills are still available in 48....tempted. The trousers look great in the pics.

Sorry I am late to the party, I have been estudying.

I have both the wool Rotas and the cotton Rotas. The former in a size 50, the latter in a size 52. The cotton variant has a shorter rise than the wool, and a smaller waist, so I sized up rather than keeping the same size. I am glad that I did, although i definitely think I could have swung the 50s. They would be a much different pant though, and the 52s have a nice casual vibe. I took in the waist on the 52s and that is about it. The size 50 wool Rotas fit me darn near perfectly, although they are definitely on the tighter side of things.

In regards to the size up or keep the same size debate, I think that it really is up to the person. Be wary though, with garment dyed... garments, letting out is often more troublesome than taking in.

The navy cotton is so, so, so hawt. A very dynamic, vibrant navy.

FWIW, It sounds like I'm the same size as conceptual 4est, and I also take a size small in Inis Meain. I haven't tried that specific style, but other sweaters fit me fine. I'd say they're on the slim side of traditional.

Sounds very much like me. My nat waist is ~34.3", so a 50 in 35" should normally be fine. How much did you take yours in, and in comp to your nat waist? And how about stretching or shrinkage? Although would expect the former as more likely, if any.
Asking all this because my size is not available any more but a 52 is.

I hear that there is a physical storefront that I may browse merchandise?

    Can you provide address?
Do I need to make an appointment?
