I think Stitches is making good on his promise to order one thing at a time so that all your Tics are belong to him.

I have the same gloves but opted for brown instead. Very comfortable and also warm when you consider the end of days winter we've been having.

The brown ones are what I wanted but I waited too long and they're now sold out in Medium.

    Ya Hallow (2) -

Was really wanting the boots for this weekend so very happy they arrived. I sized down half a size as per Greg/forum and it worked for me. I plan on beating the hell out of these. Should I condition them in any way prior to wearing in the slush and snow or just let 'em rip?

I would think you would want to, especially to protect from the salt at least.

I use obenauf's on all my boots, but i'm sure there are other products out there.

really i order separately because i like the personalized notes.

yeah, that played out well in my favor by about a hundo.

these gloves are awesome. leather + tweed + cashmere. i mean, really what more can you add?

when i was in the store i tried the mediums and they looked super sexy sleek, but they were tight and inhibited finger movement. so i ordered the large. they are better in a utilitarian way in that i can move my fingers, but they dont look as sexy sleek like im a professional hit-man. sigh.

Anyone own the Valstarino and can comment on its quality, fit, and appearance? Did you take your normal size? It appears to run on the non-slim side compared to other jackets, but maybe blousons are supposed to fit more relaxed.

I am 6'1 and about 200 lbs and went with the 52. I don't really wear much for sweaters so my layering underneath is minimal - tshirt, dress shirt, etc. If I were to layera chunky sweater underneath, I probably would have gone with a 54 I suppose, but I am a bigger guy in general :embar: I gotta say this would normally not be something I'd even look at twice but saw a couple other people post pics and decided to take the plunge.
It's an awesome jacket. :slayer: It's not too fitted but runs a bit short, and the pockets as a result sit high, but I think that's just part of the style. The quality seems really nice and it gets a ton of compliments. At the current discount, it's a no-brainer purchase IMO.

Here's a quick pic that I posted. I bought the gray one.

I have the brown Valstarino. Basically everything steve said. You can definitely size up one if you are ok with a looser fit and/or might want to wear a sweater underneath. If I were to get another I'd probably go up one. The one I have is a tad snug in the shoulders. It does run a bit short, but I've gotten to really like the look of a bit of sweater showing under the hem, as in Steve's picture. The Esemplare is longer, but definitely slimmer. I could even have sized up two on that one.

Still considering one of those bombers but undecided on the color. Seems like a nice jacket with denim so I ruled out the blue - too matching.

Brown stands out the most to me but I own a lot of brown herringbone stuff already.
