There may be some confusion with the double-sizing of Heschung. They print two sizes on the box : Euro and US (1/2 size difference). We list the US sizes on our website to try to eliminate some of the confusion.

I believe that on a US size basis, you sized down 1/2 a size. If you look at your box, it probably says "Eur 8 US 8.5"

On a comparable US basis, most people get their usual US size or size down 1/2 for that boot.

I like that piece a lot too - in both colors.

If you haven't yet, try wearing it with the lapels unfolded and collar up - I think it's a great look

Thanks, TweedyProf. It might not be typical, but I wear my slim fitting overcoats with a little cuff peeking out. I'm certainly not the only one that does (http://www.thesartorialist.com/phot...et-outerwear-sleeve-length-new-york-florence/), but I suspect my preferences might be different if off the rack coats had sufficient length in the arms. All of my true cold weather coats (including my heavier weight polo overcoats) cover my cuff completely.

As for the shirt, it is from Luxire. The collar is their standard OVBD collar. As you can see, I need to refine the pattern slightly, but it is a pretty good first fit. http://www.styleforum.net/t/304965/...ficial-affiliate-thread/7200_100#post_6854288

Is this also true for Heschung? A 10 on the site is a 9 on the box? I.E., if I want the Fr. size 9 I'd order a 10.

I'm confused now... That post was about Heschung. The box always shows two sizes, which are 1/2 apart (not 1 size apart). So if you select a 10 on our site, that will be a box saying "Eur 9.5 US 10"

I would have bought that Niche army jacket if it were available in my size. Not that I'm at all disappointed with the ts(s), on the contrary.

Here are a couple pics - sorry, they were just taken by my three year old son outside the California Science Center. I culled three usable pics from about 25 that he took, in at least half of them you can see me begging him to wait a second while I changed the buttoning. I was trying to show a few ways you can wear this piece.

One thing to note is that it's tailored very nicely - it fits pretty close to my body all around but the arm holes are quite high, so it sits very well around my arms and shoulders no matter how I move or how it's buttoned.

Looks awesome. This feels like a particularly appropriate piece for SoCal.
